Born in Reggio Emilia in 1996, Andrea Grossi studied at Polimoda in Florence, where he honed his creative approach. After debuting with his graduate collection in 2019, he presented his second collection during the 35th edition of the Hyères Festival, earning a place among the finalists thanks to his innovative use of denim, leather and jersey.
Passionate about video games and technology, Grossi uses fashion as a means to explore futuristic and nostalgic themes, creating a unique aesthetic universe. His work is based on a dialogue between past, present and future:
'My formula is to analyse the past, reinterpret it with modern elements and create a possible future.
The combination of craftsmanship and innovative techniques has allowed me to experiment with unique textile manipulations and processes."
Grossi draws inspiration from iconic elements of popular culture, combining them with textile experimentation and treatment techniques.
His research is based on the values of Made in Italy and modern craftsmanship, with the aim of preserving and innovating the know-how that makes Italy a benchmark in the sector.
